The Caveman Series is Cosmic Terror’s dedicated 2×15” bass cabinet line, built to deliver massive low-end power, clarity, and definition. Every Cosmic Terror cabinet is constructed using half-through dovetail joints, reinforced with strong front-to-back bracing and fully screwed-and-glued front frames for exceptional strength and long-term durability.

While primarily designed for bass guitar, Cavemans also pair exceptionally well with synths and guitar rigs. From low-volume sessions to earth-shaking stage levels, they provide a clean, powerful response that brings out the full potential of any amplifier.

Every Cosmic Terror Cabinet is handcrafted for players searching for massive heavy tones, huge projection and uncompromising build quality. Designed for Doom, Sludge, Stoner, Drone and extreme down-tuned music, our cabinets are built to deliver crushing low end, powerful mids and outstanding clarity even under extreme volume and fuzz conditions.

But Cosmic Terror Cabinets are not limited to slow and heavy styles alone. Thanks to their powerful projection, tight response and exceptional clarity, they also perform incredibly well for fast and aggressive music including Death Metal, Black Metal, Hardcore, Thrash and other high-gain genres where precise attack and massive sound are equally important.

Each cabinet is fully customizable — from finishes and hardware to speaker configurations and porting designs — allowing every player to create a cabinet that matches both their sound and visual identity.

2×15 Cavemans can be configured for either 4 Ohm or 16 Ohm operation.

For maximum efficiency, punch, and speaker response, we generally recommend lower impedance setups, since the speakers operate in parallel and receive power more evenly. That said, don’t worry if you prefer a 16 Ohm cabinet — the sound will still be absolutely massive. The difference between 4 Ohm and 16 Ohm is subtle, but definitely noticeable.

One of the biggest advantages of Cosmic Terror Cabinets is their ability to work exceptionally well for both guitar and bass guitar applications. Through years of real-world testing with high-volume tube amps and heavy fuzz setups, we developed speaker combinations that deliver enormous low end, massive physical impact and exceptional articulation.

While we offer our own proven speaker recommendations for heavy music, every cabinet can also be loaded with other speakers according to the customer’s preference — giving every player complete freedom to create their ideal sound.
